Welcome to Mott Hall II!  We are very excited to have you attend our school.  We will be participating in several community service drives this year, so I look forward to all of your participation.  Both hurricane Harvey and Irma has been devastating to many families, some more than others.  Please note, we will be raising money for some of the families that have lost most of their belongings.  Stay tuned for more information.  Scholars, if you have an idea about how you would like to help, please come see me!  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that may occur during the school year.

 Reminders & Suggestions

  • Please join us on Curriculum night! It is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and gain a better understanding of each class (curriculum, grading, etc.).
  • Please make sure all forms given out in the welcome packet are turned in as soon as possible. Forms include Blue Emergency Sheet, Walking Form, PTA Form, Media Form, Housing Form, Lunch Form.
  • The Ashley Farms Fundraiser will be starting shortly. Packets will be distributed during homeroom. Please be on the lookout for it, along with any other forms distributed to your child.
  • Check your scholar’s Engrade account, the online gradebook, for missing assignments and remind them to check regularly on their own. Missing assignments will be accepted up to ten (10) school days after they are due. Turning in missing work is much better than receiving a 0. If your scholar loses their password they can get it from Ms. Robbins.

Sincerely,

6th Grade Team (Acevedo, Breach, Kahan, Nam, Pearsall, Tapada)
